My son will turn 3 next month and he still throw up when he has cough, it is just because of the phlegm once it is cleared he will become OK ... and then he also vomits if he jumps or runs extensively with a full stomach.... Don't worry ur son will be alright, just consult a pediatrician and give him some cough syrup.

He probably has a stomach bug, or a bit of food poisoning. So long as the runs and the vomiting dont continue more than a week or become more violent its nothing to worry about.
Kids get these all the time, and often the bacteria causing them isnt great enough to throw the body into a full out defense mode, signaled by a fever and sluggish behavior.
Keep him hydrated, pedialite is great, or water, or if you have to some lower sugar fruit juices. Give him easy to eat things, apple sauce, cereal, crackers.
It'll most likely work itself out.

He could be teething. It's really hard to say. Did he throw up a lot or a little bit? A mom knows best, trust your instincts and give him plenty of fluids. Call the doctor if you need to.

Could be anything, kids are weird. Runny diapers could be too much juice, (acid)
As for throwing up he may just do it occasionally because of his gag reflex .....
