If the hair has not been bleached, but even colored in perminate, there is a product (i have not tried) you can find in the hair color issle at drugs stores.

I can't think of the name, but they have it usually in the middle it promissed to extract coloe pigments. It's supose to work in the same time frame as coloring 20-30 minuets. I haven't tried it, but it's the only thing i can think of unless you have a non-perminate color in your hair.

There are two ways. Mineral Oil or pure Alcohol from the chemist. Neither is too damaging on the hair. Leave them on for about five minutes, rinse. check your hair and then try again for a little longer if your results are not successful. I've used the alcohol frequently when I haven't liked a particular hair colour. Remember to always use a good conditioner afterwards. If you have bleached your hair blonde, neither of these will work. Good Luck, I've had this experience lots of times - stick with your natural hair colour, it was made for you.

wait until your roots take over it. in the mean time find a dye that's closest to your natural color so once your roots come back through it won't look bad. =]
