I am doing a science projet on what keeps apple slices the freshest over periods in time and I want to know if you know any information or websites with any information about that. For exaple I might put nothing, water, lemon juice, and fruit fresh on some apples to see which one stays the freshest. If you have any information of websites with any information about that please tell me. thanx jks

Lemon juice by far. The acidity of lemon juice maintains the structure of the apples to keep them from oxidizing.

Apple juice or water will not improve the life of cut apples for any extraordinary reasons besides the fact that the apples being submerged keeps them from being exposed to the air, and from oxidation, but waterlogging them like that is probably likely to produce really odd results.
