I can't wash it today for reasons I'd prefer not to state, but it looks really dirty. How do I make it look a little cleaner?

use a little bit of baby powder on the parts that look greasy. But you best bet is to pull it back in a tight ponytail, (if you can) and use haitspray. If it is short use a wide hair band and put up the back with bobby pins. If you dont have a wide hair band cut the leg off a pair of black pantyhose, and using a wider end of the leg cut off another section and tada hair band (knowone will know :) )

I don't know but I do remember that back in the day (mid 70's) there was this stuff that you could spray on your hair when you couldn't wash it but it kinda made the top look powdery. I can't remember what it was called and I don't even know if they still make it, probably not now that I think about.

There use to be a product out there called "Pssst" You will find it in the hair-spray aisle Or most likely the shampoo aisle.........I used this years ago when I was in the hospital for a few days and couldnt shampoo my hair............It is great! It comes in an aerosol can like hair-spray. You spray a little on your hair all over and move hair around with fingers, then brush out.......Your hair looks and feels renewed again for another day .....

if you have some baby powder... put a little in your hands and rub it thru your hair.. not too much cuse your hair will go white.. but the powder will make your hair less greasy and smell good too. If you dont have powder just put it into a tight pony tail with jel and that will do the trick too.. it will make it look like you did it on purpose...lol

Brush your hair with a brush, then a fine comb. DO NOT PUT ANY PRODUCT IN IT! If straightening your hair works for you, you can do that after steps 1 and 2.

to help hair look a little less greasy, talc is a good solution, just sprinkle a little on the root and rub in, if it stays grey or white then rub with material

Use baby powder on your hair then brush it out. It helps absorb the oils to make it not greasy.. If you have time just rinse it under cold water then blow dry it...

Rub baby powder in the palms of your hands and rub it evenly into your scalp and hair.

Then use a bristle brush and brush it through. This will soak up the "grease" in your hair.

It works.
