They say every cold virus is different thats why you can't catch the same one twice, but can you catch more than one at a time, and if you do will the effects be twice or even more times as bad?

Yes. If you are exposed to two different cold viruses they can both infect you at the same time. Worse still, if two viruses invade the same cell at the same time their DNA can blend to produce a new type of cold virus. Such mutations are likely the reason there are so many different types of cold viruses.

If you're talking about the common cold, then the answer is NO, you cannot catch the same cold twice. There are about a million strains of the common cold and your body develops antibodies for every cold virus that you get.

there ar eplenty of them, and they can give different symptoms. Some are worse than others but usually not twice as bad. OTOH you may catch a new cold every other week. Question of luck, and whether you already had something similar enough to be immune.

Yes you can and if its bad you can land up with a chest infection.I know i get a lot of them.

its very unlikly ull catch more than one and how will u know if u have caught more than one, its impossible to know.
