Amen to that. Even my children keep saying 2 me why dot hey keep going on about it all the time? They are 8 and 10!! I'm sick of it dominating the news constantly and every paper you pick up is full of it. I just want to live my life and not be so dominated by this.

Unfortunately, you can't. Nor should you. But what you can do is change attitudes with your own attitudes and behaviors.
Up until recently my religion was listed as a 'hate group' on the Southern Poverty Law Center's website. This would be the equivalent of listing Christianity as a 'hate group' because of the actions of very few members of that religion. (Specifically, the Christian Identity Movement, Fred Phelps and The Westboro Baptist 'Church' and Eric Rudolph come to mind...)
Now that that grievous error has been corrected, I have my own self to put out there as the only example of an Asatruar most people will ever meet. My behaviors become extremely important. Do I treat others with respect? Do I conduct myself in an honorable way? Or do I try and hide my own hate, prejudice, intolerance and ignorance behind the First Amendment and a computer screen? It's awfully difficult to kick someone and call them names when they are unfailingly, painfully decent and polite to you.
Unless, of course, they lack any sense of decency and honor. In which case you must realize certain levels of ignorance cannot be breached and you should simply walk away. And pray they don't reproduce.

Ban Television and Radio news.
Ban newspapers.
It is the same with the word Terrorist.
These words are never uttered in our house, it"s only mentioned every 2 minutes on the Radio, Television or written in the Newspapers.
Don"t they realise that the people behind racism or terrorism "crave" publicity. Why do Terrorists make Videos? They do it so the Media can show it to the masses in one form or another. It"s about time these were put on the "back burner"

its the character of a person that makes him or her who he is..

I'm sick of hearing the news as well. I used to watch the news constantly and now I just hate it.
I'm tired of hearing about insane people who think it's their job in life to blow up other people just because of their awful selfish religious views.
I used to be tolerant about all religions until the last few years and now I realize there's just something really evil in the world right now. It's sickening.

I thought Malcolm X was proud to be a Muslim
Oh well, maybe I was wrong.
Maybe you are still alive too, perhaps living with Elvis.
