I'm doing research for someone. I need to know what the most painless and effective poison there is. Traceless would be nice but not neccessarily neccessary.

There is a medication that is exactly like that. I am sorry but I can't rmember the name but it is used in surgery and animal docs use it to. It parilyzes the person to the point were the diafram can't move and makes it inpossible for the lungs to get air, and they die. It has been used in the angel of death trial were the male nurse was mercy killing people in the hospital. And this drug is amost impossible to find because it breaks down to normal elements found in the body.

No poison is traceless ... when the doctors cut you after you're dead they find traces of all the non-metabolized substances in your blood. Unless the poison changes into something else during it's effect.
Effective ... well K-Cn has killed a shitload of people by now ... so i'd say it's quite effective.
Painless ... Hmmm ... where do i keep it ... Oh! There it is: Have no idea. I mean ... if you pump someone with sleeping pills it'd be quite effective and painless ...
Anyhow, the information you request could be found in a local university from someone with one or two degrees in chemistry .

Hardly any poison is traceless. You could trace basically any poison through a hair sample.
As for painless? I don't know. Effective? Arsenic. But that causes pain and if it doesn't kill, it causes lasting damage.

I don't feel comfortable telling you what I think. Please, this may seem cliche, but do not kill yourself, because people care about you, and I care too, even though I don't know who you are, I don't want you thinking that way. I would love for you to be saved from this misery, or whoever is being hurt by this, if someone is wanting to commit suicide. I am assuming it is you, but whoever you are, who wants to do this, I hope you read this. Lots of people feel the way you do, I am sure, and I wish they would not because you only have one go at life, and if its ends, you can't get it back. Live the best of it, even if others seem to be living better, because you know you did your best and for you, your life has reached a better point. You will find that forcing yourself to think "better things" (healthier for your mind) might actually help you in the long run. You were put on this earth for a reason, so live up to it and don't ruin your chance. Now you may not care, but you will regret not taking that chance. Once your life is ended, you will wonder why you didn't just pull through the pain and get yourself back up because you DO NOT have a second chance.

Try looking for that poison that can be made from, I think, bitter almond oil? Something with almonds. Anyway, check and see what that is, and maybe you'll get a good poison.

Cyanide is completely painless and I've heard of several cases where it has killed in less than ten seconds - check Wikipedia for some more detailed research on cyanide.
