Hi, I’m with my girlfriend 3 years now and shes being living in my house for the past 2 years while her house gets built. We have painted it together but she gets angry all the time with me, pretty bitter angry moods, this has been going on for a while its pretty unbearable as she screams the house down and its scary for me. Last week I asked her a question not a personal one but of a trivial nature and she stormed out of the house shouting at me and I shouting at her. I haven’t seen her since bar a few abusive text messages that she sent me. The same day my aunt died and she was very abusive towards me and wasn’t there for me to lean on. Im extremely angry about this and also she hasn’t come home but now living in her own house. She hasn’t contacted me since but told people that it was over between us and I heard from them not her. I think maybe she has depression or trying to find an excuse to leave me what would youre opinion be

she doesn't sound like she has depression.....she seems to be mad all the time, which can indicate a person that can potentially be abusive. what do you believe ties her up in a knot like that? trust issues? she's become so familiar with you that she doesn't seem to hold back any of her anger. i'm sure you know this, but the odd argument in a relationship is healthy...but when she flips out at every single thing every day, she's crossing the line. ask yourself how much you are willing to take. i bet your friends would tell you to dump her ***. i won't but i will say you seem to have tried, how much longer though? she is self absorbed with herself....when she can't look beyond herself in a time when you need her support when your aunt died, what is that telling you about this person? she doesn't really care about you....or about how you feel when she yells and becomes emotionally abusive to you. it's not important to live with someone for the sake of companionship if they treat you like crap. ok, i'm saying dump her ***!

Love is the answer to everything. All you ever need is love,
communication and understanding. That's what I figured out so
far. If you are down, you need to get up and start doing something with
your life. Don't need to be shy, be straight forward and allways say what
you want and expect from the others.

Sounds like you can finally get some peace and quiet. Don't worry about her whereabouts. She knows where she is. If she wanted to contact you, she would. In the meanwhile, enjoy the silence!
