Definitely contact the Dalmation rescue in your area. The best way to contact them is to find the Dalmation Club online and they usually have designated people in each state who can help you with your search. But remember even free dogs cost a lot of money. Especially puppies. You have to think of all the vet visits, vaccines, food, treates, toys, it really adds up.

Look in the "Recycler Newspaper" (it costs about $1.75 or something on that order) and they have lots of free animals in there - I've seen pure-bred dogs, cats and other animals for free in that paper - so check it out. Hope you find one their cute dogs.
