Sounds like angina, or some form of blockage of the arteries. I cannot believe you haven't been to the doctor.

CALL YOUR MD AND GET TO HOSPITAL _RIGHT NOW_.
It is impossible to diagnose a patient without seeing him and examining him. The advice below is what I would do to a family member.
Most likely diagnosis is cardiac ischemia- the coronary arteries are partially blocked, probably by cholesterol deposits. The "attacks" might be caused by spasms of these arteries- eg. in response to stress.
A "standard heart test" (which probably means a ECG) does not necessarily detect that condition before a cardiac attack occurs.
He needs:
1) An ECG _RIGHT NOW_ to determine if any damage occured to the heart in those 2 attacks. Blood tests to determine if any eart damage occured.
2) Blood tests for cholesterol levels. His being diabetic means his risk of cardiac disease IS HIGHER.
3) Frequent checks of blood glucose and blood pressure (these things can kill too, not just a heart attack)
4) Stress test- an ECG run during excercise (eg bicycling or running)
5) Ultrasound examination of the heart. These last two by a good specialist.
If all is well, adjust his medication so that it includes some 100 mg of aspirin every day- provided he does not have stomach problems. If not, then he needs a coronarography- surgical procedure (small) to determine how his cardiac arteries actually work. If any problems- then a dilation can be done- or a bypass.
Last of all, get that sleep apnoea handled by a specialist. This is also a potential killer. Losing weight might help, sometimes laser threatment, sometimes not.
Good luck. GET TO HOSPITAL.

These are the classic sighns of a heart attack. My suggestion is to call 911 or go to the nearest e.r. Asprin is the right idea, but he also needs follow up testing and the proper medical treatment if it is a true heart attack or just heart related chest pain.

Everything you discribed is the onset of a heart attack and giving his Bayer help but it is just prolonging it, He needs to get medical attention right away before he has another episode and the bayer can't help that time. This is very serious.

That sounds like something serious, those are both signs of stroke and/or heart attack. I would highly suggest u call 911 if he does not volunteer getting into the car going on his own. Not to scare u but my daddy had the same thing and I saw it get worse because he didnt want to go. I called 911 and sure nuff it was a stroke. Please take him in. Good Luck and God Bless!

I think you know what the pains are already. These are the CLASSIC symptoms of a heart attack or at least angina. Your husband MUST get to a Dr. immediately (unless he wants to die of course). The next time could be the one that kills him......GO NOW!

I think you should insist on going to the doctor its sounds to me like he might be in danger of stroke.Tell him hes being selfish not to go, he must consider your feelings even if its nothing at least you will both know.
