Yes and I thought the premise would be interesting, a girl wanders off form her family and now she's trying to find her way back through the woods on her own with only meager food and a transistor radio , which she listens to ball games on. The beast stalking her, waiting and watching was supposed to add to the thrill of the story. While it moves quickly (some of SK's writing tend to be a bit wordy and slow), and the story does hold you attention, the climax was a letdown.

yes and i liked it. a couple Christmases ago i noticed they had a special edition pop-up book and i read that too!!!! its cool

No, I loved his old stuff, but his newer stuff hasn't really done it for me.
