My ex. bf wont leave me alone and keeps asking for more money.I am 18yrs old and 4 months ago while my ex. bf then bf was teaching me how to drive in his firebird he told me i was driving too slow and to speed up i did and the car flipped over completley we were upside down. Afraid to get in trouble he told the police he was driving since i did not have my licence yet only a permit and he was 20.He got slapped with a reckless driving charge and a fine of $600 dollars for it. I paid my ex. bf 1400 dollars in damages that were minor really to his car and last month gave him 300 dollars for the fine. Unfortunatley that was his second reckless driving charge and 3 weeks after this he got another this time they took his license and a larger fine away i dont know the details. But he keeps calling me asking for more money i dont have anymore though?can i do anything?

Call the Police ASAP. Sounds like you are in a disheartening situation. The police should be able to assist you in this matter and you may have to go to court and fight this creep. Drop your 0 and get yourself a hero.

Go to the police and tell them the story. You would be foolish not to get the police involved in this. Don't try to talk or reason with the guy. He sounds like a real idiot. If he let you drive his car he assumed full responsibility for what might happen.

How fast does one have to go to get a car to flip, anyway? If you were uncomfortable with higher speeds then he should not have forced you to go faster. It takes a lot of time and practice to learn how to drive well. He is a very foolish person. Good choice in dumping him.

Restraining orders don't do much good against a person who has a bad temper and is unreasonable. After he attacks you he gets a fine. Big deal.

You should go to the police and tell them he is harassing you for money. Tell them that you were in the car with him when this happened and you felt bad for him and tried to help him out, but now he just will NOT leave you alone and that you are afraid (since he has been abusive in the past) that if he doesn't get the money he will come after you again.

Go do it now.

get an EPO (emergency protective order) form the college police if there is one... if not.. go to the courthouse soon and get a restraining order... you should've never paid anything for the damages... he took the blame, so he takes responsiblity for damages.... and if he tries to sue... very unlikely chance that he'll win.. good luck

Get a peace bond on him. Call the police when he shows up and have him arrested for harrassement or assault if he touches you. Right now you are being blackmailed and exploited, put an end to it.

this is his own doing all the way. Call the cops, get a restraining order. Tell him you are doing so, and that he needs to stay the f*ck away from you.

You BOTH should have told the truth from the beginning.

Have you told him that if he calls you again, you will file a harassment complaint?
