You can be arrested, held in contempt of court, jailed, and or fined. Go to court and save yourself the headaches.

A warrant will be issued for your arrest and you will be charged for "failing to appear", "contempt of court" and whatever else they can throw at you. If you don't mind having this on your permanent record (that will follow you throughout life as you try to get a job, buy a house, car and otherwise have a normal life) then go ahead and not appear!

You'll get in a lot of trouble. My civics teacher didn't go to court after he was subpeonaed and he had Government officials at his house in a day.

While all of the above may potentially happen, and you should go to court, if it a witness subpoena only, and you are the main witness, or a serious issue of the case, the judge may dismiss the case against the defendant. Although, they tend not to do this for domestic battery cases because they want to know the status of the victim, why they're not showing up. (If they're OK, for example)

An arrest warrant will be issued and the next time a police officer runs your ID, you'll be off to jail.
