How do you tell the difference between an angel, spirit or guide when they present themself as a orb?

What i mean is do they present themselves with a different color, size or height? I am fully aware of the differences between the three,

That's a psychological toughie...I would guess an angel would have wings (bit obvious but there you go)..a spirit would only be there if it had a connection with the place or person and a guide would be neither of the first two..perhaps I am looking at it too logically but at least I have given an answer of some clarity..best of luck anyway.
