I am white, and my fiancee is Asian. I personally don't give a sh ! t what people have to say about us. It only matters that you two love each other, and I say go for it. Don't worry about everyone else. They are probably too into themselves to even notice you are an inter-racial couple anyway.
By the way, you will have gorgeous kids....I've seen Black/Asian kids, and they are stunning!!!
Go with what your heart says. You will not regret if you guys love each other.
Good luck!!

I would go through with it if I had feelings for any person regardless of race. There is nothing wrong with dating outside your race; we're all still human beings. When two people are in love, just feel like being together, or belong together other opinions should not matter.

Think of it less as dating outside your RACE and more of dating outside of your CULTURE. culturally you two can be very different and if you arent open minded enough to accept all of that, then the relationship could be doomed before it begins. More to the point, if you have to ask other people what you should do with your love life, then the connection between yourself and this guy cant possibly be strong enough to withstand outside criticism. Do what YOU think is right, not what people tell you is right.

What other people say shouldn't matter if you are really ok with dating outside your race. But, if you have to ask if it will be a problem, then maybe you're not as ok with it as you thought. When you don't have any doubts in your heart, then you'll know your answer.

I dont find a problem with that at all, in fact, its very positive, because it eliminates racism in a small level :-)
The only problem I see here is the age difference and the fact that he has 2 kids. but if you guys are really in love, it will work out. the diffrences are not that much.

Absouluty not! Dating outside your race is what give Planet Earth diversity! Fallow your heart, if you truley love someone, race is the LAST thing on your mind. As for all those dirty looks you mentioned, they are just stupid narrow-minded twits. Forget them, love conquers all!!

I've dated in my race, outside of my race, it all depends ont he person. If you've dated within your race for a long time, it's ok to want to try a change, get a different point of view. You go girl.

hi, i am a white woman and i have been dating a black man for 3 years and we have a daughter together. I have gotten ridoculed by my family and other black women but i don't care and you shouldn't either. As long as you know there is still hatered in the world and you won't be suprised when it happens than you should be able to have confidence in yourself and him to upstand your relationship.

I don't think it's wrong as long as you are in love. It's hard sometimes when people stare but if you really love a person you can over come all boundaries. I've been in a mix relationship but my parents would put pressure on me because of his race. People have thier stero types but if you love them, you can endure it all.

With all due respect and not meaning to be racist..
I would suggest that all black females date outside of their race...
Black males do not have a good history...
