If your cat's nose is wet odds are it just licked it not that long before you checked it. Cats nose are usually cool and dry unless they just licked it which they do about every 30 seconds while awake!!! No one seem to have realized this when they bent down to look at their cats' nose LOL!
If you don't believe me watch your cat while sleeping make sure it it not linking his/her nose for a few minutes (because yes they do sometimes lick while they sleep) then check your lovely felines nose

My cat is healthy and has wet and dry nose at times. So all thee answers are confusing.

wet, if it is dry then it means they are sick. BTW, I know my cat isn't sick and I just checked her nose and its wet

If it has allergies it might be wet...this is ok! if there is eye discharge take it to a vet....otherwise dry is the norm!
