our puppy's bones show. we feed him every day. when he eats his tummie blouts. he looks like a popbelly pig. i know with cats it is the sigh of worms. dose antone know if it is the same with dogs?

this puppy needs to be wormed by a vet now..pot belly is sign of roundworms and tapeworms could also cause weight loss but all worms rob the animal of the nutrition in the food ...please take him to the vet and get a fecal done

If the puppy has not been wormed, then IT HAS worms. Almost all puppies are born with worms and need worming. See the vet and take a fecal sample so they can treat with the proper wormer.
Parasites are contagious to humans.

Check when he goes tot he bathroom to see if the has worms in his waste. Puppies are at a high risk of getting them and it's very easy to fix. If that is not the case, you definatly should not hesitate to take him into the vet for a check up. There are lots of things that could be the cause of him not gaining any weight.

yes this puppy does sound like he has a bad case of worms. also remember to feed a puppy several small meals a day, bloat can be very dangerous for dogs!

yes you need to get the puppy dewormed. Worms can cause major damage in a puppy id untreated.

You need to have your dog checked by a vet. yes, he could have intestinal parasites. That would be something that vets check during a physical exam when giving vaccinations

no its like it get HUGE then it gets skinny then when u feed it it gets HUGE and if ya wanna know if it has worms flip the dog over and see if u see something move on its belly then touch it and see if u feel something if u do i recomend u go to the vet ;)
