We were together 2 1/2 years, we broke up because he was cheating. He calls every now and then, leaving messages saying that he wanted to see how I was doing because I was on his mind. What does that mean? I dont call him back. We've been broken up for 2 months now.

how long you ve been together doesnt mean the big thing in life.
i dont know how to explain. actually... since someone has moved on, the relationship should be over, and the person wont care about how long "ve been together". it's gone, it's past. it's the nature thing. everyone would just have a new life again. coz we all deserve the better life ahead.
if you dont want to give him a chance, it's fine. he would be able to find his another love in the future, maybe pretty soon. just depends on if you're willing to try or not.

you're doing the right thing by ignoring his calls. Men like to keep their options open, so he is keeping in touch with you so that if he wants to ever come back for sex or whatever, you'll still let him. also it keeps you from making a real connection with some one else and moving on if you still have feeling for him. You should get out there and date for awhile before even considering getting back with him. Who knows, mabye you'll discover you were too good for him anyway and find someone better.
