It's personal preference. People can have very bad skin reactions to hair removal creams like Veet or Nair. Shaving you can always cut yourself.
If you're thinking of using a hair removal cream, make sure you test it out on a patch of skin first. I know no one ever wants to test it, but its very likely you can have a reaction to it and its best if you try it out first without putting it on your entire leg and it burning like hell!
