The faithless spies reported to the Israelites that in Canaan they “saw the Nephilim, the sons of Anak, who are from the Nephilim; so that we became in our own eyes like grasshoppers, and the same way we became in their eyes.” (Nu 13:33) These men of extraordinary size, called the sons of Anak (probably meaning “Long-Necked (that is, of tall stature)”, were not actually Nephilim, as reported, but were only unusually tall men, for the Nephilim, the offspring of angels and women (Ge 6:4), perished in the Flood.

And the men whom Moses sent to spy out the land and who, when they returned, began making the whole assembly murmur against him, by bringing forth a bad report against the land, 37 yes, the men bringing forth the bad report about the land will die by the scourge before God. Numbers 14:36-37

The ten spies who brought back to the Israelites in the wilderness a false report on the land of Canaan declared: “All the people whom we saw in the midst of it are men of extraordinary size. And there we saw the Nephilim, the sons of Anak, who are from the Nephilim; so that we became in our own eyes like grasshoppers, and the same way we became in their eyes.” No doubt there were some large men in Canaan, as other scriptures show, but never except in this “bad report,” which was carefully couched in language designed to strike terror and cause panic among the Israelites.

Does it not say that they are 'from the Nephilim' that is to say not actually the fleshly sons of angels. the are not first generation Nephilim but the descendants of. there may have been some of this in the gene pool amongst the 8 people on the ark.
The report of the spies does indeed suggest that these men made the spies feel like grasshoppers compared to them. The men were big.but the report was exaggerated. The men were large in size, and they became fearful when they saw them.
The Israelites may well have been familiar with the stories of the nephilim through oral or written historical accounts passed down the generations. and so, it was possible to describe seeing the Nephilim as this would let people know just how big these people were. I think describing the sons of Arak as Nephilim is a bit of a hyperbole.

A Report Intended to Terrorize.

The ten spies who brought back to the Israelites in the wilderness a false report on the land of Canaan declared: “All the people whom we saw in the midst of it are men of extraordinary size. And there we saw the Nephilim, the sons of Anak, who are from the Nephilim; so that we became in our own eyes like grasshoppers, and the same way we became in their eyes.”
It was a false report intended to terrorize the Israelites and so the report included giants.
Numbers 13:31-33; 14:36, 37.

You are watching at matters from the viewpoint of a less than excellent human construction. Jehovah God is the ideally suited ruler of the complete universe. We can not start to have the equal stage of knowledge as He does. Having mentioned that,Jehovah allowed a few fifty years for Noah and his loved ones to construct this ark.And for the period of the constructing of it,the Bible additionally tells us that Noah used to be a preacher(2Peter2:five).So those ungodly guys and females had tons of time to repent and be stored at the side of Noah and his loved ones. You have to keep in mind that this used to be an overly violent and depraved time. The Nephelim had stuffed the earth and their influenze had unfold to all components.Things had been that dangerous that Jehovah "felt regrets that he had made guy within the earth"(Gen.6:6).Jehovah felt remorse that guys had taken a mistaken path and that each and every inclination in their ideas used to be best dangerous. Just as depraved guys previous to the Flood would make Jehovah suppose remorse,so the abominable deeds now performed earlier than Armageddon make guys of well will sigh and cry. Jehovah takes no delight within the loss of life of the depraved,so he felt remorse while he noticed the desire of executing them and it introduced grief to him to him to ought to carry at the Flood. But Jehovah didn't remorse having made the earth and purposing it to be inhabited. So simply as the times of Noah, there's a global extensive preaching paintings happening. And in his due time Jehovah will as soon as once more carry approximately the destruction of all wickedness. But this time we now have the warranty that this would be the final time.Satan and his demons might be destroyed and the earth might be stuffed with righteous, obedient mankind inclined to serve the one actual God,Jehovah

The people of that land were extraordinary in size. Those who were sent to spy out the land wrongly referred to the people there as Nephilim which frightened the nation of Israel. Of course they could not have been Nephilim because Genesis tells us that the flood wiped them out. Did you notice that Israel had to roam the wilderness for 40 more years for their lack of faith that God would have blessed their efforts to enter into the Promised Land

Depending on what translation of the Bible you use, you'll find words that allude to a either a second "wave" of these beings, or the distinct possibility that the flood failed to wipe all of them out.

Og is known in Jewish oral tradition as a nephilim giant on whom Noah took pity and even gave some food, and who was allowed to use the ark as a flotation device. We read about him again here:

Num 21:33 And they turned themselves, and went up by the way of Basan, and Og the king of Basan came against them with all his people, to fight in Edrai.
Num 21:34 And the Lord said to Moses: Fear him not, for I have delivered him and all his people, and his country into thy hand: and thou shalt do to him as thou didst to Sehon the king of the Amorrhites, the inhabitant of Hesebon.
Num 21:35 So they slew him also with his sons, and all his people, not letting any one escape, and they possessed his land.

Furthermore, the Bible doesn't rule out the possibility of a nephilim remnant. It speaks of the angels being dealt with, but is silent about the final disposition of the offspring.

2Pe 2:4 For if God spared not the angels that sinned, but delivered them, drawn down by infernal ropes to the lower hell, unto torments, to be reserved unto judgment:
2Pe 2:5 And spared not the original world, but preserved Noah, the eighth person, the preacher of justice, bringing in the flood upon the world of the ungodly.

If one takes a long view of things, it looks as though God may well have decided to free the Israelites from captivity in Egypt, and lead them around for 40 years in order to finally wipe out the last of these evil and totally unauthorized nephilim.

The Israelites didn't have the stomach for it, though, as they didn't do what they were told. They allowed many of them to escape, and had to contend with them for generations to come.

It's also likely that Goliath and his four brothers were descendants of this bunch. They were certainly large enough, and they lived in the right place.

By the way, ancient tradition also points to the likelyhood of Golgatha, (later Calvary) having been named for the place where David hung up the severed head of Goliath, for all to see.

"In Genesis 6:4, the words, "and also afterward", indicate that the transgression of the sons of God(translated as divine beings in The Torah) with the daughters of men happened again after the flood. See the Book of Jude for another reference to this sin of the angels, comparing it to the sins of Sodom and Gomorrah, going after "strange flesh".

this is Numbers 13:33 And there we saw the giants, the sons of Anak, which come of the giants: and we were in our own sight as grasshoppers, and so we were in their sight.

It take place after Moses lead the people out of Egypt, and the 12 spy had returned.
and Genesis 13 has only 18 verses

so I think you have your arks mix up
