Should be common sense I know, but I'm having a dumb moment!!

I don't use wax paper very often, I'm used to using parchment paper. I want to refridgerate some meatballs I'm making (before cooking them) and figure lining them on a baking sheet with wax paper is best.

You'll use it waxed side toward the food, for both non-stick and storage qualities. The wax keeps food covered without sticking, and it also acts as a moisture barrier, keeping liquid either in or out (depending on your need).

You'll wanna put the paper wax side down, so as not to spoil your dish.
