I am 33, my wisdom teeth started coming in when I was 15 or 16 and that is about when the pain started. The dentist has also told me that I have a small mouth.

Yes, its called 'Refered Pain'... Your nerves in your lower jaw, run upward into your face and TMJ, which is the 'Temporal Mandibular Joint'. Located below your ears. Your head and neck are connected of course, so hense why it can cause sever pain through out your neck and head area. Its very common to have this referring pain.

My suggestion go to see a dentist and get them out. If you dentist is comfortable about extracting them, he/she will do so. If not, then they'll refer you to an 'Oral Surgeon'. This is there Speciality. They can either remove them with everyday numbing meds like Lidocaine or they can put you to sleep by IV sedation.

Good Luck...

Are your wisdom teeth just coming in or are they already completely in? In any case I suggest you mentioning this to your dentist. Pain in the neck area could also be a sign of infected tooth, teeth being overcrowded, or tmj. I remember having a lot of pain in my neck and head when my wisdom teeth came in. I had them removed because I didn't have enough room in my mouth and they were pressing into my other teeth and this is why I was having severe pain. Talk to a dentist asap.

it can be one of two things...do you still have your wisdom teeth or have you had them removed? if you still have them, they are probably causing the pain. the pain will go away and reappear again unless the tooth is infected with means you need to see a dentist asap. either way you need them out. another problem it might be is an abcessed tooth. which means a cavity has gotten so bad that it is infected. for this you need to see a dentist asap. the infection could spread into your blood stream and put you in the hospital. check with your health department to see if they have a dental clinic. they are usually free or have low fees. also check your local colleges to see if they have a dental school clinic.
