Just last week a religious fanatic group was going to protest at the burial of those little Amish girls, they had signs stating that the little girls were whores and they deserved to die, an anchor at fox news asked them what would it take to stop them from doing so, he offered them money at which they scoffed, so he gave them 1 hour on his radio show in which they agreed. Do you think that the religious protesting is getting out of hand. What say you? The name of the fanatic religious group is called The Westboro Baptist Group.---A.P.

Excuse the cut and paste, but I think people need to see all of this and it's too long to retype.
The Westboro Baptist Church — described as a hate group by the Anti-Defamation League — has made a name for itself by picketing the funerals of U.S. troops killed in Iraq. The troops are dying as punishment for America’s tolerance of homosexuality, the group says.

The Westboro group says the Amish school girls were “killed by a madman in punishment for Gov. Ed Rendell’s blasphemous sins against Westboro Baptist Church.

“Gov. Ed Rendell — speaking and acting in his official capacity to bind the State of Pennsylvania — slandered and mocked and ridiculed and condemned Westboro Baptist Church on national Fox TV,” the group says on its website.

“Rendell also revealed a conspiracy to employ the State’s police powers to destroy WBC in order to silence WBC’s Gospel message. Co-conspirators identified by Rendell included state officials, citizens, lawyers, legislators and media,” the website says.

Westboro Baptist Church said it is “continuing to pray for even worse punishment upon Pennsylvania.”

A number of states have passed laws to keep groups like Westboro away from grieving families at funerals, but last month, a federal judge ruled that a Kentucky law barring protests within 300 feet of military funerals and memorial services is too broad and may not be enforced.

I know that this is an isolated group of whackos, but things like this are happening more and more often, and it's sickening. I'm all for healthy protest, when it's done to make change, but this is just wrong. Thanks for mentioning this - I probably wouldn't have known about it otherwise.

I think The Westboro Baptist Group is out of hand. I don't consider them a religious group. I consider them a hate group using religion as a justification for their views.

i think of as quickly as the youngsters are old adequate to have an exact opinion themselves and not purely mimic their mum and dad' opinion then it is fantastic. My mom labored (volunteered) at abortion clinics, component to folk forming strains so females could have the means to correctly get for the time of the anti-abortion protesters. She does not permit me bypass together with her till i became 12 and then I had to sit down down and clarify to her what my opinion became, why I felt that way and what study I had completed into the two sides while forming my opinion. If a confirm cares that lots, to make useful their newborn is extremely status up for what the newborn believes in, then i think it is fantastic.

The Westboro Baptist Group reads the bible. Try and prove them wrong with the bible. You cant do it. They are consistent with its teachings

Thats why the bible must stop being believed as a book from God.

this is another example of what can happen when people take a particular view and blow it out of proportion. do not agree with them but we must accept their free will to express their ideas or we might not have the free will to express our particular views later.
