Well if you look at the general consensus of the questions asked about why non believers are here (that includes other religions, atheists, agnostics) they think this is a christianity board so of course they have no problem encouraging their own beliefs even when it is violation of guidelines. So, to answer the last question... yes christians don't feel the rules apply to them.

I don't encourage it. I generally don't answer those questions, since they are more like "let's rally 'round and worship here" instead of questions. Unless some other point is made in the "question," I ignore it, since they recede into cyberspace as quickly as they arrived, and the posters lose interest...until a later outbreak.
I don't speak out against it, because that contributes to the problem; I do report violations from time to time.
And for the record, no, I did not report your other question about seeking a RAmen, etc.
I definitely believe that the rules apply to Christians. My reporting--not prolific, only done when people grossly violate the guidelines--is indiscriminate as to who is asking or answering. It has everything to do with guideline violation, nothing to do about the poster's personality, belief system, and so forth.

this isn't genuine: "Blessed are people who do His commandments, that they'd have stunning to the tree of existence, and would enter in the process the gates into the city. yet outdoors are the dogs and sorcerers and sexually immoral and murderers and idolaters, and whoecer loves and practices a lie (Rev 22:14-15)." His commandments are listed in Exodus 20:a million-17 and Deutoronomy 5:6-21, in spite of the fact that each and every guy or woman commandment is declared extra generally in the hot testomony than in the previous. The regulation has not been made void (Romans 3:31, Rom 6:a million-2). people who love God shop His commandments (John 14:15, John 15:10 and 15:14, a million John 2:6, John 13:15, a million John 5:a million-5, 2 John 6-11, 3 John 11, Rev 12:17, Rev 14:12). not something that defiles can enter into heaven. purely those born of water and the Spirit can enter into heaven (John 3:5), and this water isn't purely actual water (baptism), yet non secular water (see Mark sixteen:sixteen, John 4:10-13, John 6:35, John 7:38, Ephesians 5:26, John 15:3, a million Peter a million:22-23, Acts 22:sixteen). we will not sin that grace would abound, it does not artwork that way.

Boy do you have some hate inside!
First, I'm not a Christian, I do believe in God but I don't believe in religion. I also have some problems with what I call "organized religion." Something that pastors and priests say are really out there in left field. Some Christians do need some psychological help. But just like there are some that are wackos, there are some Christians that are very good people and that do walk what they preach.
BUT, to be fair to everyone, Christians are not the only ones in here that break all or some of those rules. Almost everyone in here does at one time or another. You have too, I read some of your questions and answers and some are down right insulting.
It appears to me that you have nothing better to do than to attack religious people. Why are you so angry at god and these people?
Based on the number of questions and answers that you have posted, I can imagine that you have nothing else to do than to sit there and type your dumb remarks and questions. What is it? Are you handicap, like on a wheelchair and blame god for what happened to you?
I agree with you in some of your remarks, but you look obsessed with proving to the world that you are right and Christians are wrong. Just like they obsessed with proving people like you wrong as well. In other words, you are acting just like them. haven't you heard that those that live in a class house should not throw stones?
Grow up and get some psychological counseling to deal with some of those anger issues you have. Only then, will you be able to live a more peaceful life. There’s one thing that I believe on and practice, something that I only wish that people like you and Christians could learn to do, that is to LIVE AND LET LIVE! Good luck with your loosing quest of changing the world!

okay, devil's advocate, let's put this into perspective. Virtually every time I come onto this website, I see someone or more likely several people that write these same types of questions over and over...what Christians do wrong. Are you all point gaming, or is it possibly that a lot of us just want to share something. As long as we stay within the rules, you have the choice of what you select for questions. So if it bothers you why not ignore those questions.

Are you assuming something? Are you assuming all Christians are running yahoo answers? Are you assuming these posts are not being reported as point gamin, chatting. repeating of posts? If you are, you must be an administrator of Yahoo Answers. It is up the site administrator to see that users don't violate the rules.
You need to address this complaint to yahoo answers - not to the people who use the site.

I see that you have just called a person to whom you gave best answer "a special kind of retard."

I didn't report you, so I think any imbalance (actual or perceived) that exists between sanctions against atheist YA rulebreakers and Christian YA rulebreakers (forgetting questionmarks, chatting) has now been rectified.
Just don't let it happen again, k?

I honestly don't believe those were all by Christians. I think some of them were impersonators. Some people just don't take time to think about whether their question is within the rules. That includes people of every religious ideology.

Your right. I have seen quite a few violations from the Jesus mob today.
Asking to get an "Amen" just sounds like creepy fundamentalist drivel anyway.

I reported it.
And reported it.
And reported it.
Bugs the snot out of me; makes it hard to find the questions I really *want* to answer. You know -- the ones about how atheists never help anyone in need.
I'll have to remember that the next time they ask me to continue that donation to the United Way that is taken out of my check each week.
"No, sorry," I'll say, "I'm an atheist and we think only of ourselves."
