the cambridge diet.....it's expensive, but it works!
http://www.cambridgediet.com/
i didn't think they were still around, but they are. in the ninth grade i went on this diet. i still ate a little something with it at lunch and i had a tv weight watchers dinner at night, my last "snack" was my third drink of cambridge.
i lost 34 pounds in a month and a week and kept it off....even after i had gained during pregnancy, i lost my weight. It also gave me energy. I grew up with liver disease (without knowing it) and that would explain a lot back in 9th grade. It really helps the energy!
If i had the strength, I'd go on it again. I am the heaviest I've ever been thanks to chemo and my thyroid. (not being able to eat almost a thing for a year and it messing with my thyroid is the reason why I had weight gain after chemo).

I've tried many diets and couldn't make anything work. Since having my first child, I've been carrying around an extra 30 pounds. This diet just made sense and showed me that everything I was doing before was wrong and a waste of my time.
The plan was so refreshing and so simple to follow. I did everything plan said and lost 23 pounds in the first three weeks. I'm now starting the diet again to lose 7 more pounds. This plan has changed my life.
Get started today!

I've been trying a few different ones myself lately. I've always liked the special K ones, but I would need a snack before lunch time. The EAS brand tastes good but gives me the shakes two hours after eating but lately the premium protein shake has been my go-to. 30g of protein, little sugar and plenty of vitamins and minerals. Also a good amount of fiber so you don't end up feeling hungry later AND it's only 160 calories.

The problem with these is that they have nutreints but do not make you feel full. Wouldnt you rather eat something that makes you feel full, so you are not tempted to eat other stuff. Eat skinnless chicken breast and vegetables. In many cases this would be better because most shakes have sugar.

Try the Myoplex lite (available at most health and supplements store). They taste great. If your looking for a really tasty treat, try making a pudding(add less milk and whisk it until smooth) with the chocolate flavour with some peanut butter mixed into it.
