It has been 5 years since I had my first child and other than the pain the delivery is a blur is there a website I can go to to see an acctual delivery?

i too cant think of any websites but there are programs on the t.v.....on the discovery health channel and TLC....the names of them are special delivery,maternity ward(they are on the discovery channel)and then there is baby story on the TLC channel.You can check your local listenings for them.im pregnant with my second after 4 yrs and i cant remember to much from the first time either and i have been watching those programs and they have helped me....good luck and congrats!!!

one word, epidural. you are going to need your strength to deal with a five year old and a newborn. don't worry about delivery. you've been there done that. worry about finding a sitter so you can still do the school things and etc that your five year old will need. also, invest in a good rocking chair. as for the video, the discovery channel aired a program while i was pg the first time. maybe thier website would have a link. the one i saw was extremely graphic.

I don't know about any websites but we took a Lamaze (sp?) class thru the local hospital and the teacher had several videos we watched. You might try that route.

I'm sure some pregnancy websites would have a clip. However I believe it would be best that you didn't see what goes on down there when you are in labor. Yes I know I'm not you.

i don't know of any websites, but i know they have some movies you can rent at the library about child birth, breathing, and taking care of the baby after it is born.

Some doctors offices have them or can lead you to someone who has them. Dont worry, things will be fine.

you can ask your doctor sometimes they will have these kinda video's for you to take home and view! It has been almost 9 years for me! CONGRATS!
