wait a year at least. If you are unable to do that - wait absolutely as long as you can.
First of all you need time to heal. You might feel great and think you have lots of energy - but such is not the case.
In my opinion, you wait as long as you can - preferably until the child is in school. If that's not possible, at least a year.
One of the saddest consequences of our materialistic lifestyle is the abandonment of our children to the care of sitters and daycare workers in favour of maintaining our social standing.... but that's a whole other topic.

Probably. A day care won't accept the baby until it's 6 weeks old. Also, you should not go back to work until your doctor releases you to do so.

That's up to you. Many woman are unable to be off of work for very long. If you feel up to working and have a trusted person to care for your baby then you can go. Most daycare's will not accept baby's under 6 wks old.

Yes it is definitely too early. Your baby needs nurturing day and night specially during the first three months of life. Plus remember that your baby needs to bond with you.
Good day!

The only person who cn answer this is yourself. Are you ready to go back to work physically and medically? Can you bear leaving your child just yet? Do you have suitable daycare for your child? Most daycares will not accept an infant until they are 6 weeks.

i would say so! Aren't you still exhausted from giving birth? And Don't you want to spend some more time with your little angel?
Heck, if I had to go back to work after having a baby, i would milk maternity for all it's worth and stay home for a year!

Personally, I say stay at home as long as you can to bond with your new born so they feel safe and secure and get to know you and you get to know them. Try to give it a couple months if you can at the very least. Time for you to heal, too.
Financially, and realistically, sometimes moms have to do what they have to do. Would your doctor release you to return that soon? Most will not.

technically you should wait 4 more weeks until you are completely healed from having your baby...my doc told me 6 wks before i could go back to work so that i can fully heal...i had my daughter natural no c section... you need to make sure everything is back to normal and you have had your post baby check up and then you should go back to work. if you feel the need to go back to work before then then call your doc and talk to them about it.

If you feel you would be happier back at work and up to it but it's a shame to miss out on your babies first few months of life.
