Sounds like a great mix. Since it will be a mix - it shouldn't cost as much as a purebred - but some people are paying ridiculous amounts for some mixes like "Peekapoos", whatever that is.
Make sure you have it spayed/neutered if it hasn't been already. Most will come that way, and many organizations will do it for free or on a sliding scale.
My former dog names: Toby, Rocky, Trey, Sam (Sam the Dog), Gryff, Samson. Trey was my dog as a kid. He was a Cocker, Golden, Lab mix - the best. We also had Skye - a Kerry Blue Terrier - nuttier than a fruitcake. Now I have (please, no laughter) Sprout. He's the only purebred I've ever had - and MY MOTHER named him. She was sick and I thought she was going to die - hence, Sprout. Starr's Spectacular Sprout. Note - "Sprout's Mom." Talk about crazy!! He's a Schipperke - Belgian - Brussel's Sprouts anyone? I hate the vegetable - I should have known. My father wanted to name him "Spot." (He's solid black.) My mother is still alive and my Dad passed about a year ago. I should have gone with Spot. "Dog" is almost 2 1/2 now and is STARTING to calm down. He's actually a riot and there aren't very many of them over here. He's so ugly he's cute. And he's a GREAT watchdog.
Tips are try to meet the puppy in his home with his mother and siblings. DO NOT get him from a pet store. Be kind to him right from the get go. They are wonderful dogs.
Good luck!!
P.S. The cats are Grace, Feathers, Percy, Harry and Hermione.
Go with your gut when you first see him. It will come to you.

my labrador should have been called beaker... she's so nosey. She's 11 months old and the most she's cost me at the vet is £20 for an eye infection! Must get her spayed soon though and that will set me back, but she's the best pet i could wish for! however she has also cost me a kitchen table, 3 chairs, new flooring and 3 beds so far... make sure your new puppy has enough to keep it occupied if you're leaving it for more than an hour! Unfortunately they test everything with their teeth first!

My Labrador is named Tritan from Greek mythology. Triton was the son of Poseidon ( god of the ocean) Labs are water dogs so I wanted a water name. Is your puppy male or female?
Boy names: Zeus, Apollo, Cody, Toby, Athan, Chief, Dakota, Tulsa, Austin
Girls names: Mackenzie, Ariel, Sydney, Athena, Sadie, Nala, Cinder, Hanna
Labs are the greatest dogs, you will never find a more loyal, loving, intelligent, versatile dog. They are great, but they have tons of energy as pups, so they need plenty of exercise. And trust they do protest in ways you won't like if they feel neglected. Their favorite thing is to do is be with you. Labs like to chew so make sure the puppy has enough things to chew on. The Kong toys are great.

When naming your sweet little puppy think about some of your favorite things, novels, and movies. Characters in books, plays, and films make great names, as do your heroes and favorite celebrities. Make sure that it's a name you're ready to stick with for about 10 years (life span of the average dog). I named my dog Sir Lancelot because he's my "knight in shining armour" (he's a yorkie), but my friend named her dog Hamburger just because she liked the name. It's all about your tastes.
Good Luck with your puppy! Hope I helped! :)

Call it fetch, that will confuse it, ant tips, they are much smaller than a dog and do not make good pets, they tend to make ant hills but it is fun to watch them run about when you pour bleach on them

trying to think of the colour the pup maybe. SANDY, RUFF, (WHICH IS I THINK LOVELY) Solaman, tinker, raffle, scooby, meggie, sasha, walnut, autumn, i shouldn't think the cost should be all that expensive as the breed is crossed, and the cross breeds are always tougher than the pure breeds. just your anual booster injections are probably needed. the cost of the dog should be quite low, as it is a cross breed. hope this helps.

How about Sapphire?

Over the summer we got a Golden Retriever and I named her Sapphire after Saphira the dragon in the book Eragon. Everyone kept asking us why we named her Sapphire when she (obviously) isn't blue. But anyways, one day my mom was talking to someone and they said that there is actually a golden colored sapphire stone.
