White doves are sexually monomorphic, but you can learn the pelvic sexing method that every breeder learns eventually: cradle the bird in a towel, and place your index finger between the pelvic gap just above the cloaca (bottom orifice). Press in softly. Since your birds are nesting they'll both be hormonal, so both sets of female pelvic bones will "give" a little, like they have to for an egg. A male pelvis is narrow and firmer. Once you learn how to do this, it's always reliable. You can look for male features, like a broad head, or more almond than round eyes, but it's not fool proof.

The eggs may be infertile because of floppy perches -- the female can't grip well enough for the cloacas to rub. Females mature just a little earlier, so the male may still be blossoming. I'm sure you know this, but to be safe: like snakes and lizards, and except for waterfowl, birds have cloacas, not penises, so don't jam your finger inside them.

You can have them DNA sexed at the vet. It's a little expensive. They may have no babies because they have to have a proper place the raise the eggs. If there is no nest for them and they just lay on the bottom of the cage the eggs wont develop

You can check their vents. The wider they are then they are female the closer together they are males. You could separate them if they both lay eggs they both are females. That will take a lot of time. You could also take them to an aviarian vet & have them sexed. Good Luck, Becky

You should take them to the vet or some pet store and ask them to check instead of you.Other wise I think you have to stick you finger up it's thingy and if you feel a penis it's a boy.

get a doctor to tell them apart. (animal doctor ;; vet) or you can separate them and see if they still have eggs. if they do, then you wil know for sure they are two females!
