There are plenty of people 21 and over that abuse alcohol, drive drunk, and have failed relationships because of drinking. If we lower the drinking age to 18, there will just be that many more people with the same issues. Sure there's plenty of people under 21 that still are able to get alchohol illegally, but if it were legal, there would be just that many more who might be in jail or on the roads to kill someone.

Despite the fact that our bodies are maturing earlier in life, our mental maturity is not. I would argue for voting before age 18 rather than being able to drink before age 21.

Drinking is a responsibility and is a somewhat useless hobby particularly for younger people that are not mature enough to handle the consequences. There doesn't need to be three reasons, one is enough.

I have yet to figure the 18-21 deal. I guess they think you can handle it better, who knows.

becoz u might not know what u're doing with ur young emotions when u got drunk.

becoz, u're supposed to finish ur homework, and when u do it u have to be sober

becoz it's healthier for your body when u don't drink , reminding ur body is still processing
