Why many of you, still don't understand the differences between Ethnicity, Nationality, Race, Color, Religion?

Question

Are the Mexicans an ethnic group or a Nationality?
Are the Jews an ethnic group or a religion?
Are the Africans a Color or a Continental population?
Are Americans the Estadounidenses or any other one in this huge continent?
Are the US Citizens a Color or a race?
Who is an Anglo? Who an Hispanic? Who a Latino?
Are Asians all from the same country? Is Israel and palestine in Asia or in Africa???? Don't answer me all this questions... just think a lillte bit about your heritage and about your immigrant ancestors. Forgey the Laws for a little bit... Laws are being reformed.. and I think besides reforming the immigration laws, the Calssifications must be also reformed and updated.
Seems like we are still living in the British colonial era... with Indians , Slaves and Cowboys... it's weird see the way you pervive Immigrants and Immigrati!

If we have Muslims and Jews... wahy not Catholic immigrants?
or
If we have whites and Blacks, why not Browns, Yellows, Pinks, reds, etc?

If you classify Indians as native Americans... why not Mexican-Americans, Cuban-Americans, Colombian-Americans, Irish-Americans, Uganda-Americans, Egyptian Americans, Lebanese-Americans, Armenian-Americans, etc?

I am Mexicano. I live in Mexico. I haev many many relatives and friends in the USA, who are Mexican-Americans, and others...

I think in the USA, Racism and Prejudice are Instituionalized, so, majorities are btreated as Minorities, and Minorities as Majorities.
....most Americans think White is a role model.
We call that in Spanish " Malinchismo" and it is a social Disease!!!

Get education! Immigrants in your contry and mine are from all over the world, and Legallity or Ilegallity is according to the Political system policies.
Policies can change, so.... Focus on that! and don't mess with te Mexicanos!

Jews are both.
Not all Africans are black.

Sorry, your perception of America being a British colony is way off track, no such thing. Indians are still with us. Some live on reservations, most live just like the rest of the population. Slaves???? Way off base. Cowboys, they're modern cattle handlers. No 45 stuff.

The colors you mentioned, we have them all. They're all very welcome, so long as they are not law breakers.

When you question why with respect to color, race or religion the basic issue is far deeper. Each step we make to cultivate the cause of the human race is to stop believing everything we are told and realize that actions not spin should be the anchor for our thoughts.

Who cares what Liberals or Conservatives say, I say seeing is believing when it comes to actual physical issues. Should we care about politics, religion, race, origin, ethnicity or beliefs? Sure, at this point in world culture we would surely create a position for a king of the world if we didn't. Is there a concsious understanding of differences? Probably but, many won't admit it in their lifetime.

It's a good topic, but it's already been pointed out over and over again, and this phenomenon will not change anytime soon. Yep... every ones racist and ignorant, all Americans are..Oops I mean north Americans....Oops that includes the U.S. ,Mexico, and Canada. You are 100% RIGHT, people don't like to search or read about the truth, they just repeat what they hear, right or wrong information. What you think about Hispanic, what's a Hispanic and if your a Hispanic, you can't be white is this right or ignorance. If you are Hispanic, from what country you come from? My friend, this is the reason why we are so divided in our country the United States of America. In no other country there are this problems, I know I have being to many of them.

I'm wondering if you know the difference. Ethnicity usually designates Nationality, or could be religion. Used in place of race, it is ones Nationality.
