Do a google for kierkegarrd, or soren-something (can't remember sp), and other "existentialist" philosophers. They spent their whole lives peondering questions that ultimately revolved around who an individual is, as an individual, and as part of a greater whole. To answer your question, yes. Everyone wonders at some point or another who they are. Do other's make us who we are? ie, does being a father, or brother, or mother or daughter, define us? am I only a person because of how other's percieve me? Because of the labels you could attach to me? Do memories, or experience make us, us? What does it mean to be alive? Who am I to be alive? Who am I? Am I normal? All normal questions, all questions hums have pondered since the dawn of, humans.

Yes! you are sane! lol! I hope you find out who you are. Set down and make out a list of things that describe who you are. Like what your characters are, what your personality is like, What are you dislikes and likes. Look into your father and mothers background and find where your roots come from. Makes this something fun to do. Just see what kind of answers you come up with. Look down the road a piece and see where you would like to see yourself at. Like in college, coaching boys ball games, working etc. Make a list of all the things you like to do and do them. If you have talent, use it like painting, poetry, drawing etc. Remember as time goes on things are always changing and a lot of times we change too. Hope I helped! Take care! Hugs! Von

Yes, I think everyone wonders who they are. Its very connected to the basic question of the purpose of life. Many people too often find who they are by the judgments of other people and therefore, others decide who they are. I think that it is natural and good to ask who you are and why are you here but the way you go about answering that question makes a huge difference.

Everyone that is truly sane wonders who they are at times. Look deep inside yourself for answers and not to other people.

Of course it is, everyone wakes up one day and wonders that. I myself am wondering that right now, What kind of person am I? Whats makes me who I am? Its just you trying to realize your place and needing to discover things about yourself, dont worry its all normal.
