Since you are a Muslim you know that the story of Nooh نُوحًا is mentioned in the Quran in Sura 71. The story of Noah is also told in the Bible (Genesis 5:29-9:29). Jesus likened the endtimes to that of the times of Noah before the flood (Matthew 24:37-51).

The verses that you have chosen Genesis 6:5-7 describe YHVH as being dissatisfied with the creation of mankind. You comment that God/Allah know everything, never makes mistakes, never fails and nothing goes against his will. It seems that you infer the Biblical account is an admission of YHVH of fallibility? Correct?

According to my understanding, God gave mankind "free will", the ability to make choices in any circumstance. God does "know everything" this is called omniscient. He knows all the permutations of all the choices that all of humanity may make, but he does not know which choices that mankind will actually make. This means that God has prepared a plan with every contingency for all of the choices to eventually get mankind to the place where he intends for it to be. God was not pleased with the choices mankind had made and so he decided to destroy all but Noah and his family and let mankind start over. This is slightly different from saying that God made a mistake.

It was mankind that made the mistakes that displeased God, so God destroyed all of mankind except Noah and his family. God probably had a plan for the contingency that Noah and his family would have been equally as disobedient. Then God might have destroyed all of mankind and then started from scratch again.

I view it like planting a garden. (I love gardening). I prepare the soil and plant the seeds carefully. Then when the plants begin to grow, I notice that other plants (weeds) that I did not plant are growing in the garden. I could just let the weeds continue to grow and when it comes time to harvest just harvest everything and discard what I do not want, but I periodically pull up the weeds and discard them. It does not mean that I am sorry I planted the garden or that it was a mistake. I know when I plant a garden that there will be weeds and I will have to discard them, but I plant a garden anyway because I want to harvest the fruit.

I know that Muslims believe that Jesus preached true words and this is called the "injil" or gospel of Jesus. In Matthew 7:16-19, Jesus talks about fruit, saying, "Ye shall know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles? Even so every good tree bringeth forth good fruit; but a corrupt tree bringeth forth evil fruit. A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, neither [can] a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit. Every tree that bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire. This is like what I do in my garden. I take the weeds (although they may not exacty be corrupt and evil, they are unwanted by me) and I discard them. During Judgment Day (qiyahmah) the people who have good fruit will be taken to heaven and the people who have bad fruit will be cast into the fire (hell).

Muslims may not accept the letters that Paul wrote to the churches, but in the letters (epistles) to the Galatians and Ephesians, Paul explained what the fruit of the spirit is. It is love, joy, peace, patience, goodness, gentleness, meekness, temperance and faith. That is the fruit that God looks for.

The antediluvian (before the flood) society did not have good fruit, so they were destroyed. God promised that he would not destroy mankind again by a flood in Genesis 9:11 "neither shall all flesh be cut off any more by the waters of a flood; neither shall there any more be a flood to destroy the earth."

This means that again God gave mankind "free will" to make choices. If God would have thought that it was a mistake, he could have made mankind from that time on without "free will".

God knows that mankind will make bad choices and yet he allows mankind to have "free will". I imagine that God has made a plan for salvation of all those people who have made the bad choices because I believe in the mercy of God. I believe that whenever a person makes bad choices that it grieves God.

I do not think that God made a mistake by creating mankind, nor by allowing mankind to have "free will". I do believe that God has prepared for all the choices each individual makes.

Jehovah's Witnesses believe that Almighty God knows everything that He wishes to know.

They believe that Jehovah purposely restricts His own foreknowledge of certain things, in order to truly and lovingly allow his servants to exercise free will. For example, if Almighty God had allowed Himself to see the yet-future sin of Satan and Adam, would that not have have demonstrated a lack of love?

God knows everything, even before it happens.

God has done nothing to be sorry for.

Islam is a religion of hate, but that is their fault, not God's.
