the cylinder capacity is the size of your motor-like a 350 ci is alot bigger than 350 ci-the 350ci is the size of all the cylinders with the pistons bottomed out and all added together-each cylinder is 43.75 cubic inches-add all 8 together and you have a 350-that is your cylinder compacity-hope this helps
