i know this is suppose to be general knowlage..butim confused.. it might be a culture thing thou.. ok so i wanna wear a ring and make it seem as and eng. ring cause i have a bf.. and blah blah boring story but anyway..ok some ppl wear the eng ring on the right hand then when they get married on the left.. others wear a smaller on for eng. then a diff one for the wed. but both in left hand... which is right?

It depends on what the ring is meant to symbolize. If you want to make people think you are engaged or married, then wear it on the ring finger of your left hand. But it really doesn't matter which hand you wear it on. Promise rings are "supposed" to be worn on the right hand because you're not engaged or married yet, but I wear mine on my left hand because it just feels more comfortable. Do whatever makes you happy.

When a man proposes to you he gets on one knee and puts it on the left ring finger. I don't know where you got the right hand from, but that's wrong.

3rd finger left hand for both engagement and wedding ring. You should wait until he asks you to marry him before putting a ring on that finger though not just so you "seem" engaged.

when my boyfriend gave me a ring i wore it like an engagement ring too. cause we were unofficially engaged. i wore it on my left hand.
