Accept that there are idiots everywhere, that includes some on this site, if someone makes insulting remarks whether it be in a question or answer you can always report them. Don't know what the question was, was it witty or offensive? some people give "tongue in cheek" answers that are viewed as comical and are done without the intention of offending. Many of the amusing answers are chosen as winners because they may relieve tension to a serious subject even though they provide no practical solution.
