Not the usual sausage rolls and sandwiches. Something a bit more upper class.

What you need then is a list of what you want on the buffet. Salads, Jello's are always a hit, just no carrots and green peas in the jello PLEASE!
Then the entre(s) make a couple of things like Swedish meatballs, A chicken filet not a breast goes good, a bread or two, You could get some beef and marinate it then grill it and offer that.
My buffet is only meat and bread, I smoke meats and at cook offs that's all I need. I'll whip up some other stuff if the event is big.

I think this has some good advice and salads can be made so many ways and quite upper class.
