you will need an adaptor... otherwise you will fry your device. Most likely the plugs will not fit, so you will need an adaptor anyway.

You need an adapter. A lady from work used her 120 v hair dryer in a 220 outlet, when on vacation. It was shooting flames as the plastic melted.

You need a power converter and possibly an adapter to plug in the converter. It is very unsafe to do that without it.
