Try going to your local dollar store where you can really find great stuff for only a dollar. I have one here and it is fantastic. For only a few dollars I can buy things that would cost $30 to $40 at conventional retail prices.

Are you looking for a place to have dinner? Try telling her to take you out for pizza?? That isn't that much. Or tell her you just want to have dinner @ home and get a good movie and say you wanna have a girls night for your birthday. You could make popcorn after dinner and get icecream or something...

Try any "dollar store" for party decorations. For clothing you will have to go yourself but any second-hand such as Salvation Army and Goodwill occasionally have something GREAT but you really have to search for it. For food, anything made at home is usually tastier, healthier and less expensive than pre-made.
