A Born Again Christian is someone who has asked Jesus Christ into their heart. They say they want to make Him the Lord and savior of their life. This concept is based on Bible passages that say you must repent (turn away from) what the Bible defines as sin, ask Jesus Christ into your heart and make Him the Lord of your life.

Simply a person who now believes that they will go to Hell if they do not follow man's explanation of God. They are a scared soul who has been convinced that there is only one road to heaven, and you must be perfect to get there. If man were capable of being perfect there would be no reason for Jesus, and a lot of preachers would be out looking for real jobs. You cannot learn without making mistakes in the process. The soul is a student, before we were born we learned natural instincts, and we will go on to learn after we are released from this cocoon we call a body. Learning to communicate with our teacher through prayer will make your learning experience a whole lot easier. Religion is confusion, faith is the road to learning, prayer is the tool.

the actual rebirth and conversion is a mind/body process that takes time.. you go through a "tunnel that turns out to be a bridge to your heart".. in the tunnel it is very hard as you are attacked by the world and there is no Light and it is taking me years to "find my way out"/// Christ will help you through it..At the end of it you will see the Light, and regain Christ Consciousness.. It is subconscious brought conscious and then all fear needs to be transmuted, all ties to the world prayed out (forgiveness) and also all demons that people have in their hearts/ Christ is sharing His room with scary guys like Fear and Anger and Lust etc.. ;.. Until all the demons are gone, until the wicked is burned, He is gonna love you till the fear subsides///Without fear you are gonna be free and find your true self back (and marry Him and finally have divorced the ego-mind, we had been praying for the end of time like Meatloaf sang...) and paradise is regained, that is heaven..You are together with your first Love and God is in you, you are all Light and there is no darkness (in the mind). So also will not ever get sick anymore and yourself have a love-vibration that will heal and start this process in others..Hope it is easier for the next group as I nearly did not make it.. once again, you will need pitbullfaith,,
I think born-again Christians think they have gone through this proces already yet that is not so..

A person who has confessed to God that s/he has sin that separates her/him from God, and has accepted Christ's forgiveness so that s/he can be born again in the Spirit to become God's child, with the honor of calling God her/his Father.
S/he believes that Jesus is God the Son who came into our world in the form of a man to pay the penalty for our sin on the cross, and that he rose from the grave on the third day. He now sits in heaven next to God the Father, but sent us God the Holy Spirit to be here on earth with us and in us, until he returns to our world again at the end and new beginning of all things.

I think that 'born again' means when you are baptized. You are reborn in the spirit. Which means you are cleansed from all your sins and now you start over, just as clean as when you were born.
you do not need to have hit rock bottom or anything. It just means that you have been reborn in the spirit.
I'm not exactly sure. Every church has their own spin off on this. But from what I have heard from others around me this is what I have come to conclude.

A born again Christian is usually someone that hit rock bottom by doing whatever. Alcohol,Drugs,Sex,Crime etc....but then decided to change their ways and turn themselves over to God for judgement and forgiveness.They are then given a clean Christian slate to start anew.

Acts 2:38 Repent and be baptized in Jesus name and seek God with all your heart and you shall recieve the gift of the Holy spirit.......then read the 10 commandment and follow them ......When you are baptized it buries the old man and when you come yp out of the watwe Behold you are a new creature in Christ Jesus

im not christian , but i think means getting back to kids age n starting a new life, being morally good n accepting jesus
