I personally was 19. I have friends with kids that lost their virginity at 11 ( a girl). My brother lost his at 12. Most of my friends were around 16 when they lost theirs. Unfortunately, this is a different generation than ours was. You need to be open with your kids about sex and keeping open communications with you. If you don't help them set some guidelines for it, someone else will.

I lost mine at 14. We waited until we were together for at least six months before we went all the way. My mom talked to me about std's and pregnancy. She told me that if I wanted to start having sex then she would put me on birth control. I told her and she did. I think kids have sex more because they are curious and want to know what all of the fuss is about. But I have to say that the parents these days are not very proactive about it. If my kids tell me they want to have sex or are thinking about it, I will be up front and honest about it. I will warn them about what could happen if they don't make good choices. I am not a parent that thinks that my kids would never do things like that. The parents that have those attitudes are the parents that end up raising their grandchildren. In my opinion people are so quick to blame t.v. and junk that they stopped taking responsibility for their own actions.

Todays kids r relli very very fwd... Diff country's kids loose their virginity @ different age. E.g. in USA kids loose their virginity at 15-19 yrs of age. In India its not the same. kids loose their virginity @ 21-25 in India...
But always remember.... There are always exceptions to the rules...!

I lost mine at 17.

I'm afraid that kids today lose virginity as early as 12 but I think the average is still about 15. And thats way too young. I think 17 was too young. It wasn't as special as I had hoped. If I had it to do over... I'd wait till I was married.

In a suited international, little ones does no longer be dropping their virginity. youthful adults could on the honeymoon. there is not any shame in elevating above the effect. little ones are enjoying the "nasties" from a youthful age and a great form of times neglected as childs play. it is not so harmless. They shouldn't comprehend all that stuff. intercourse is a alluring concern, yet no longer for little ones. yet especially as on your question, a counselor informed me she develop into attentive to little ones as youthful as 9. there is not any shame in having a strangely severe set of morals. good success.
