There is only one death be confession listed in the bible and that was the thief that was on the cross with Jesus. If you know when the exact second is that you are going to die yes you could ask for forgiveness before and be saved. I don't think that anyone knows when your going to die though. It could be sudden! It could be instant like in a nuclear explosion at ground zero. You cant predict your death right? That's why I say don't party today but start living like you want to go to heaven and turn away from the old life and start working for God. Don't gamble with your soul!

I'm a christian-athiest,I would like to clear up a couple of things for you. There is no heaven, but there is an afterlife whether you say"sorry" or not.You are creating your life now and after you "die".You are already forgiven, yet, you will have to look in the proverbial mirror, and answer to yourself.Enjoy the party, but party wisely.

You kill a man today and say 'sorry' when you are dying - you think the sin goes away - you are sadly mistaken. It has become a trend in society to do all dirty things possible and say 'sorry' thinking that it is a magic word.

It all depends on what good deeds you have done. How many lives have you helped? How many lives have you saved? How many lives have you brightened? How many hungry mouths have you fed? These are the vital questions that will come into play. Do not expect 'automatic forgiveness'.

Why are you so worried about partying and consequences or non-consequences? Crikey, you sound really stressed with all these questions. I would go off and find someone really cool face to face to have a chat with about all of these things. Saddos like me trying to spend half an hour on't t'internet can't help anything like a real live person who has 'beliefs' can.

Go and read some Adrian Plass books I would say. Even if you don't agree you will end up laughing!

Don't take it for granted. It depends very much on your actions, lifestyle, all your thoughts, and how much good you have done for others, and how much good for yourself. You are already being watched and helped. Ask to be guided. If you party today and waste every day and die, you can be excluded from even atmospherea heaven, not shown how to live as a spirit, left on your own. If you are lukewarm, bear in mind there are millions of anti-light spirits out there who would gladly recruit you as another slave.

saying sorry might not be good enough sunny jim
you will have to have a change of heart and confess with your mouth that Jesus is lord remember the theif on the cross who confessed him as lord and confessed his own sin jesus said today you will be with me in paradise do not underestimate the grace of GOD
the bible says two interesting thins one is that christ dies for us while we were yet sinnes and the other is many are called but few are chosen
eternity is a long time to regret a poor choice come to jesus now My friend I expect that you will be in heaven so see you there!

Do you really know when you're going to die? What happens if you get drunk and drive your car and all your passingers over a cliff before you remember to say, "I'm sorry"? Jesus wants us to accept Him as our Savior and immediately change our lives, so we are accepted into the Lord's kingdom. We must live our lives so they are pleasing to the Lord (Matthew 7:21).

there is no heaven dude...I think you should not worry so much about what's going to happen to you if you do bad things on earth, rather try to think of what good will come out of you being a good human being by that I mean, someone who is conscience of what they are doing and helping others to make this world a better place..

Don't add to the problem, solve it. contribute, don't infest it.

God says in Quran that "people plan and God also plans and God is the Best Planner"... you may think you can just enjoy whole your life and say sorry when you are dying. But believe me you won't be able to do that, because God won't allow you.

So fear Allah, and repent, you still have a chance to go to Paradise!

DO ALL GOOD PERSONS GO TO HEAVEN?

“The family head David . . . both deceased and was buried and his tomb is among us to this day. Actually David did not ascend to the heavens.” (Acts 2:29, 34) So the good man David did not go to heaven. What about the righteous man Job?Job prayed to God: “O that in Sheol [the grave] you would conceal me, that you would keep me secret until your anger turns back, that you would set a time limit for me and remember me!” Job expected that when he died he would become unconscious in the grave. He knew he would not go to heaven. But he had hope, as he explained: “If an able-bodied man dies can he live again? All the days of my compulsory service [appointed time in the grave] I shall wait, until my relief comes. You will call, and I myself shall answer you.”—Job 14:13-15.

“No man has ascended into heaven but he that descended from heaven, the Son of man.”—John 3:13.

Therefore, according to Jesus’ own words, no man had gone to heaven for all those 4,000 years of human history down until his day. David, Job and John the Baptizer will receive a resurrection to life on earth.

On the last night that Jesus spent with his faithful 11 apostles he showed that they would be rulers with him in God’s kingdom. He told them: “You are the ones that have stuck with me in my trials; and I make a covenant with you, just as my Father has made a covenant with me, for a kingdom.” So those who go to heaven go there to serve as joint rulers with Christ in God’s heavenly government.......“Have no fear, little flock, because your Father has approved of giving you the kingdom.”—Luke 12:32.

144,000 persons are seen with the Lamb, Jesus Christ, on heavenly Mount Zion. (Hebrews 12:22) So rather than all good people going to heaven, the Bible reveals that only 144,000 tried and faithful persons will be taken there to rule with Christ.
