I use regular iceburg lettuce and add tomatoes, cucumbers, and broccoli. Oh yeah, and carrots. (i add boiled eggs and a dill pickle or two to that) Then i top all that with dressing. Sometimes I add chopped ham are fried chicken bites.
Then i add bacon bits and croutons(sometimes sunflower seeds).
Now, I am hungry for a big green salad. I am off to the supermarket to get the stuff to make one.

I like venison, beef, chicken, tuna, turkey, ham, eggs, salmon, haddock, more beef, a bit of moose and some Lea & Perins for dressing.

As you may tell I'm not a big fan of salad, most of the time it is nothing more than lettuce with a few specks other veggies on it. Rabbit food if you ask me.

The only time I have a salad with veggies is when I'm out to eat and order a Cobb salad. Otherwise it's mixed greens with a lemon vinaigrette and feta. I'll have the veggies as a side dish.

The darker lettuces are healthier for you, so I tend to use them. Carrots, broccili, spinach (when it's safe), mushrooms, pea pods, bean sprouts, whatever looks tasty when I'm at the store.

I love to top it off with Wish Bones Salad Spritzers. 10 calories a serving and they're delicious.
