Did you mean Divots? If so, they are the non road-taxed occupants in the driving seat of this 'should-be' redundant contraption who assume maximum rights and no responsibilities towards the road-taxed users of other vehicles propelled by ICE's.

I vote to burn two every Monday especially the ones who are always on a bend on a narrow road when another ICE powered vehicle is coming towards me and I feel obliged to slow down!

I'm no engineer, but I'd suspect that the points at which the two wheels are connected would be a good starting point.
