This is our dilemma…we’re both in our 60’s and family is scattered, other than my youngest son, whom lives nearby. We’re thinking Vegas as that way none of the kids would feel left out seeing as they would not be able to make it to where we live to be part of our wedding anyway. We don’t want to hurt any of the kids by having a wedding they could not possibly get to (jobs, money, kids in school would be their reasons, all very legitimate). They love us and would want to be here, but that is not their reality. And both my fiancée and I have “been there, done that” wedding thing before; we just want to get/be married. And we don’t need/want a ‘big’ production…so which wedding chapel would be the best for two ol’ lovers to do the deed. And are we doing the right thing, by going off to Vegas???????????

I think this is a great idea and since it is the two of you, have fun with it. You have both done the serious wedding and this time you should have fun and express the love you have for one another. I lived in vegas for a few years and have seen great weddings. Try the Little White Wedding Chapel. They have great ideas for the type of wedding you may be looking for. Hope the info helps and congrats to you both.

Vegas can be a beautiful place to get married! Go for it! I would suggest sticking to the hotel chapels versus the off strip ones though. My friends got married at one off the strip. It was next to an "hourly" motel and a bail bonds place. Not a very nice area if you know what I mean. Congrats!!!

There are nearly as many wedding chapels in Vegas as slot machines. You should have no trouble finding one. Try

lvwedding.com or lasvegasweddingsource.com

And yes, you are doing the right thing. Good Luck.

Shouldn't be a problem. There's one every two feet or so.
