Why does Saul bow to the "god" ascending out of the Earth?

1 Samuel 28
13. And the king said unto her, Be not afraid: for what sawest thou? And the woman said unto Saul, I saw gods ascending out of the earth.
14. And he said unto her, What form is he of? And she said, An old man cometh up; and he is covered with a mantle. And Saul perceived that it was Samuel, and he stooped with his face to the ground, and bowed himself.

Perhaps that's satanic?:

Saul was bowing to what he thought was Samuel. It was not Samuel, though. Before Samuel died, he had stopped speaking to Saul because of Saul's disobedience to Jehovah. So how could the witch of Endor force the "ghost" of Samuel to give Saul a message now? What she saw was the trickery of a demon.

You should only bow down to Jesus.
HE is LORD.
By the way, that seance got SAUL in a lot of Trouble with GOD Almighty.
