I would go to the Bible, read the Word of GOD concerning this, and call Satan a Liar.

Luckily I don't have kids yet.
But to keep you happy and give you a proper answer...
If I had a son and God (as in the Christian one) came to me and said that, I'd assume it was some test to see how much I'm devoted. But I wouldn't do it. And God would then gate me so I'd have to become Jewish and try to get into Heaven that way.

I suppose for the purposes of this thought experiment we are also going to assume I have a son?
OK I say- Look I read this story, so I assume it ends the same way so let's cut to the chase and you show me where the ram is. Or what ever the modern equivalent will be. It's Abraham and Isaac again.

That would be a demon disguised as God messing with someones mind. The true God would not do that. That was Andrea Yates excuse and it wasn't God talking to her. God told Abraham to sacrifice his son (testing), but put a halt on it. That was then, this is now. No, God does not condone murder, nor are we to use sacrifices (as in animals) anymore.

Yeah i known to such paradox. One of these is Can a god make a stone which he can never lift. First of all God have not time to visit ur home. Secondly, God will never put u in a situation where he contradicts his own saying. If he does so he is not a GOD at all.

Never. If He called on me to do that I would refuse because even
God Himself doesn't have the right to order me to murder my own
son. I would want him to have a chance at a long, happy life and
wouldn't do anything against that.
If that meant no Heaven, so be it.

Absolutely not.
If that is what god is like, we would be better off without heaven.
I know the answer to that is that we are unable to see god's plan, maybe s/he has something better planned that we cannot comprehend, etc. But I have to work with what I am given, and godly ultimatums such as those make my skin crawl. The story of Abraham is in no way inspiring to me, it is cruel. What a horrible thing to do, to make someone prove their love in such barbaric fashion.

Will my son go to heaven, also? If so, then yes. If not, then no.
[allowing that we know it really is God]

For the sake of argument then, no. My entrance into heaven wouldn't be more important than my own son's life.

1. I don't have a son
2. god is never going to show up, whether he exists or not
3. I agree with Ajayu, I would like to ask him some questions, if hypothetically he did exist and showed up to me in that manner
