Shy, hmmm... Im sure she will smile alot at you and giggle at you even when you are not funny. Maybe you will see her looking at you alot. Or making the effert to talk to you or just to walk by you. Ask her friends they know everything!

If she's shy... it make take a couple attempts for you to actually make her comfortable with you... and get use to you.
If she's only playing shy... she may like the cat and mouse thing, and in that case... you can keep her guessing.
Only way to know though, is to make a move!

Sounds like you may be shy also. Just talk to her. Ask her to go for a cup of coffee, to a movie, or to watch a school sport with you.
