I am way to skinny for my age, 13, but i excersize all the time. My arms and legs are very muscular and i'm satisfied with them, and i almost have a six-pack so i'm fine there, but you can basically see all of my ribcage from the front and side view. I swim very competetivly, so thats where i get my excersize from. How can I gain weight so people can't see my ribcage? Nobody eles is like this? Any special drinks or foods? Also, i already eat a lot.

Okay I have your problem, and here is some serious answers that I have researched/been told. First of all, still eat healthy, dont stuff yourself silly, and do excercise.

Eat higher calorie fruits and veggies (bananas, carrots, apples basically any fruit and veggie that is not watery.

protein! Eat lean meat, eat peanutbutter, ask your doctor about taking some protein powder, my doc prescribed me some to take, and it actually doesn't taste to bad.

Eat healthy high calorie foods like nuts, legumes, wheat crackers.

Never be plain. Top your toast with maregines made with healthy fats, peanut butter, jelly. add cheese to your scrambled eggs. This will add calories without filling you up. Cook with healthy olive oil and sprinkle it on your saled, add eggs, crackers and other filling stuff to your salads. fill omelets with cheese and veggies. Order creamy soups.

Swich to whole grains, there healthier and more calorie dense. Eat complex carbohydrates, not loads of sugar.

Eat 3 meals and at least 3 snacks.

here are some healthy high calorie snack ideas.

1. plain full fat yogurt and frozen berries blended together and some peanuts mixed, makes a great dip.

2. Cheesy garlic bread made with whole wheat bread.

3.peanut butter on toast with bananas washed down with full fat milk.

4.whole wheat blueberry muffins, or pancakes

5. Pasta!

6. homemade pizza.

Now, If you wanna gain weight but still be healthy do weight training and resistance excercises. Do crunches, and buy hand and ankle weights, and use them. And jump rope too, or swim.remember muscle ways more than fat!

You have a four-yo unbroke stallion, you are 14, and your teacher is not capable to make any development with this horse. . . . .who's bucking and rearing. Hmmmmm. Well, you will not desire to listen to this, considering that at 14 you in general consider you understand plenty approximately horses, and it feels like you might have a romanticized perception approximately this "black stallion" (I suppose a breeze from the entire thumbs turning downward). First of all, if you're adamant approximately maintaining him (your mom and dad are right - he's a detrimental animal to any person who does no longer have a LOT of EXPERIENCE with unbroke older horses, and stallions), you then have to geld him, regardless of how attractive he's, and ship him to an overly well and skilled teacher. If he's conformationally ultimate and a ten mover, then see if an overly skilled character is involved in shopping him or taking him free of charge. Keep in brain that over 2 hundred,000 registered TBs and QHs went to slaughter final yr, the rescue amenities are complete to the max with many well, sound, broke and rideable horses, so we quite are not looking for to any extent further toddlers jogging round at this factor. PS I used to be 14 no longer goodbye in the past, and I look to keep in mind pondering I knew fairly a little bit approximately horses considering that I'd been driving for 7 years and had "informed" a inexperienced thoroughbred on my possess (although, on reflection, no longer very good, and with plenty of success). So be inclined to hear what a few shrewd folks have mentioned right here on YA and to what your mom and dad and a few skilled running shoes would possibly inform you.

It is hard to build muscle if you are trying to gain weight by eating lots and doing cardiovascular fitness eg swimming as you said. I used to have the same problem, was a martial artist and needed to toughen my torso and side area as I had my ribs broken when I was your age. I tried doing weights firstly but to little result until I slowed in my fitness including running and began eating as much as possible including all foods especially fast food (I know it sounds unhealthy but trust me) with lots of calories meaning lots of kilojoules of energy.

Im not 100 percent sure of what specific exercises to do for your rib cage area so you should check it out online.

As for 'special drinks or foods' i strongly discourage using protein powder unless you dont care about your health but just want to look buff.

All in all just change your exercises from running to still exercise etc and eat AS MUCH AS POSSIBLE: meat, dairy, bananas and no 'low fat' alternatives such as 1% milk because you are trying to gain weight not lose it.

Hope this helps.

First of all stop worrying about you weight at your age. You will gain weight soon enought.
People who swim a lot have a tendency to be slim and there are a lot, a whole lot of people out here that wish they had you problem.
Just go the way you are going now, and again STOP worrying, there are plenty of more important things to worry about than vanity.
