The origin of hand holding, is to get someone to follow in the direction you are leading them.(started before language)The origin of sex, well we all know that's for procreation, and survival of the species. Many people do not know the origin of kissing, so I will tell you. Before the age of "baby food," mothers would have to chew up food, and then use the tongue to push the chewed up food into the babie's mouth! This was considered to be the ultimate act of love. Funny how things get turned around huh?
